I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your time and effort helping to provide a quality event in our GA5K run/walk on October 8th.  Your team was prompt and helpful from the set-up to the tear-down.  Your constant, upbeat attitude and effective timing system allowed me to remain confident and our competitors knew they were going to receive an accurate time for their run.  This was my third race using Commonwealth Timing and I could not imagine a better company from planning to implementing this great event for our student teams and clubs at Glen Allen High School.  You are an asset to any race event planned in or around the Richmond area and beyond.

Excellent Experience! Reid and his team did a wonderful job supporting our 7th Annual Bon Secours MRMC Nursing 5K Challenge and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, September 16th. As this was my first time planning and executing an event like this, they were professional, answered my MANY questions and ensured everything went as planned the day of the event. Commonwealth Timing showed up on time and with a purpose. Our race was a 12-hour overnight ultra marathon which Reid (Commonwealth Timing owner) dutifully took on. In spite of the grueling hours Reid and Roman were always available and eager to help. Great work!

The Commonwealth team was amazing at coordinating our race fundraiser event from start to finish! They went the extra mile getting our organization permits for the exact location we wanted, even when there were difficulties due to construction – Commonwealth pulled through! They were also great at keeping us involved every step of the way and making sure we had what we needed to be prepared. From bringing sample t-shirt for us to choose from, creating designs, helping, and guiding us promote our race, and most importantly creating a beautiful website to promote and sell tickets through. They even coordinated a packet pick up the day before for racers to pick up their numbers and bag of goodies ahead of time! Our Race day was a huge success! Commonwealth was there before all else and had everything set up ready to go. It was so nice there was even an entire breakfast snack and water area they provided for racers the entire time! I was amazed at how smoothly and efficiently their team could gather all racers’ times, announce winners, and distribute prizes. Everyone had such a great time at the event with the music selection and friendly team creating such a positive and energetic environment. I highly recommend Commonwealth Timing and Race Management for your event as they will go above and beyond to put on an exceptional event for you!

We loved working with Commonwealth Timing for our schools fundraising 5K! Reid and his team were incredibly helpful leading up to the event. They shared many race tips and information with me as a first time race director and on the day of our event, they exceeded our expectations. Our runners had an great time and it was all made possible with Commonwealth Timing! We will definitely be utilizing their services again in the future.

This was our second year working with Commonwealth Timing for the GA5K. Our race draws 500+ racers, with the majority being high school students. Commonwealth Timing is comfortable with our high energy racers and keep the event moving along at the pace needed. It is imperative that our race start on time as our race requires road closures coordinated with the local police and our 5K is followed by a parade and a festival. Commonwealth Timing understood this need and delivered. They also provided a quick turnaround with the posting of times so our racers could check their results quickly. Mr. Sowder happily answered my many questions ahead of the race. With many details to coordinate, it was nice to be able to trust that the details around the start of the race and timing results was in the capable hands of Commonwealth Timing.

I am a new race director (Richmond 9/11 Heroes Run) and I can absolutely say that I would not have been successful without the advice and expertise of Reid at Commonwealth Timing. Reid was helpful from day 1, when I first engaged him as our timing company. He offered advice on planning, advice on the route, and so many other details of the race. On the day of, he had EVERYTHING taken care of in the start/finish line chute, he was able to make adjustments last minute for me on the age categories, and packaged all the results in an extremely organized manner.
